Canon Rangefinder FF GL Optics Mk V Rehoused Lenses
Canon Rangefinder LPL Primes are Full Frame, 1960s Canon rangefinder lenses in modern cinema housings. Their vintage coatings deliver beautiful low-contrast images, and gold lens flares. Despite their age, they are sharp, even wide open, with surprisingly low chromatic aberration, even for vintage, high-speed lenses. They also have a unique painterly bokeh, that gives images a texture and depth you can’t really get with modern lenses.
The new housings have 114mm fronts, 330 degree focus rotation, LPL mounts, matching gear positions, and greatly improved close focus distances. If needed, we provide courtesy LPL Mounts for RED, ARRI, SONY cameras.
